Winter time can be a tough time of year with colds going around, after holiday blues. Here a couple of Juice Cleanse Recipes to help you get thru this winter season.
Green Goddness Smoothie:
• 1 cup almond milk
• 1 cup coconut water
• 1 tablespoon almond butter
• 4 kale leaves
• ½ cup spinach
• ¼ avocado
• 1 tablespoon maple syrup
• 1 tablespoon maca powder (available at health-food stores)
Spicy Carrot Clementine:
6 clementines, peeled
4 pieces fresh turmeric (or 1/2 tsp ground turmeric)
Optional: 2-3 drops Young Living orange essential oil
Scrub the carrots well to remove any dirt, trim the tops of the carrots. Remove the peels from the clementines. Process all ingredients through your juicer. If using ground turmeric, pour juice into a glass and stir in the turmeric until well combined. Stir in the essential oil. Enjoy within 30 minutes of juicing or pour into an airtight container to store in your refrigerator for up 36 hours.
